6-6:30 Strength work (optional): Prevent injuries and improve your technique with running-specific exercises that prime you for the following optional interval/tempo session. Workout to uplifting songs with a brilliant group of fellow running enthusiasts. 6:30-7:30 Interval running: Technique drills and guidance followed by interval training sessions designed to push you progressively harder than you would do by yourself. And have more fun along the way! Pretty much everyone that starts this group says they're worried they're too slow. But soon realise they're not. If you can warm-up jog continuously for 10min, you're in! That's the beauty of interval running: it caters to such a span of abilities and you can choose how hard you want to push - inevitably harder than you would by yourself. Suitable for ages 8yrs (families often train together!). £5 pay as you go only. Parking: We use the National Trust Car Park. If you are a member, it's free. If not we advise parking by the Foxhouse Pub for free (5min walk away), as it's £6 for non-members.
