We are delighted to see the Queen's Park Shield return for the 25/26 season. After a tightly contested 24/25 academic year with Stirling Men's 1 beating Edinburgh Napier Men's 1 in the final, who will become champions of Scottish Student Football this time round and claim the bragging rights? SS Football Finals Day will once again be held at ORIAM, in April 2026. Rules and regulations for the Scottish Student Football 25/26 season, including the format for fixtures, will be made available shortly.

The Queen's Park Shield knockout draw will feature 4 seeded teams, with these teams being ranked based on their league placement last year in the BUCS league and knockout programme to ensure a fair representation of their performance over the course of the season. 

Teams have the flexibility to choose the dates for each round of the competition and will be given a play by date in which the corresponding fixtures must be played by. The play-by dates are as follows:

Round of 32: 26th November 2025

Round of 16: 3rd February 2026

Quarter-Finals: 24th February 2026

Semi-Finals: 17th March 2026

Finals Day: 1st April 2026 @ Oriam, Heriot-Watt University (to be confirmed in due course)
