Scottish Student Basketball are delighted to bring back the National Trophy! This is a performance focused knockout tournament to decide the best student men's basketball team in Scotland. Seeded teams have been determined by the combined performance of the team during the 24/25 BUCS league and 24/25 SS Basketball Trophy to provide a fair reflection of the team's overall performance across the season. There is a trophy up for grabs for each team - so don't miss out! Please be advised the following play-by dates for each round must be adhered to:

• Round of 16 (if required): 30th November 2025
• Quarter-Finals: 22nd February 2026 
• Semi-Finals: 22nd March 2026 
• Finals Day: 1st April 2026 at Oriam, Heriot-Watt University 

Equipment/Match Organisation - Fixtures to be arranged by Fixture Administrators at each institution during the competition, as per the rules and regulations which will be released shortly. The Finals Day will be organised by SS Basketball volunteers and SSS staff so teams will be notified of the event-day requirements closer to the time.
