SS Basketball are delighted to bring in a brand new event this year! The SS Basketball 3v3 Festival is a fun event designed to build on the popularity seen in in the Tokyo 2020 & Paris 2024 Olympics. 3v3 is variation of basketball played three-a-side, with one backboard and in a half-court setup, so great for all levels of ability.

Eligibility: All players involved must be currently matriculated at a SSS-affilated institution and able to show student cards upon request as per the SSS Event Terms and Conditions. Clubs can only enter 1 Men's team and 1 Women's team due to capacity: a maximum of 8 Men's teams total and 8 Women's team total

Format: A random draw will be created once entries close which will include group stages and finals. Women’s matches will begin at 9.30am and Men’s will begin at 9.30am

Registration: From 8.30-9am

Equipment/Match Organisation: 

• Teams should be in institution-branded playing kit
• Teams will consist of 4 players in total: 3 on court and 1 sub
• 10-minute games with running clock
• Each game will be refereed

Medals: Medal presentations will take place at midday

Entry Cost: £25 per team

Payment: You will be able to pay by card on this system. If you wish to request support from your Sports Union to cover the cost of your attendance, please click 'Defer Payment' and this will send them an invoice request. PLEASE NOTE - you should talk to your Sports Union about financial support BEFORE you sign-up to this event
