If a session is showing as full, you can go through the booking process and add yourself to the waiting list.
Join Cycle Sisters for a relaxed ride through the local green spaces and quiet streets of Islington. This is a great way to explore your neighbourhood, get active, and connect with your community.
These rides are open to women who live, work or study in Islington and can already cycle (balance, pedal and steer). Rides for the current month are indicated in the schedule below:
Tuesday 23rd June - Beginner Plus ride to Clissold Park
Tuesday 30th June - Beginner ride to Finsbury Park
Tuesday 7th July - Beginner ride to Clissold Park
Tuesday 14th July - Beginner Plus ride to Clissold Park
BREAK FOR SUMMER HOLIDAYS
✨ Ride Level explainer:
Beginner rides are aimed at those who have recently learnt to ride a bike or have returned to cycling after a break.
Beginner Plus rides are a progression from our beginner rides. They are suitable for those are have completed a beginner ride and would like to challenge themselves further.
Intermediate rides are aimed at those who are confident with controlling a bike as well as those who want to build confidence riding on the road.
✨ What to Expect on the led rides:
Led by experienced female instructors
A relaxed, social pace – no one gets left behind!
Marshalled junctions for a safe and stress-free ride
Borrow a bike or bring your own bike
Helmets provided if you wish to wear one
🚲 What You’ll Need to Bring:
Water and a small snack - a small rucksack is best to carry items
Comfortable clothing for cycling – make sure it's secure and won’t catch in your bike chain. Shoes must be secured to your feet e.g. no flip flops.
