Description
I teach simple standing, sitting, inverted and relaxation poses, and you learn to stretch and to de-stress. You will feel the beneficial effects on body and mind immediately.
This class is for beginners, and an intermediate level who would like to understand more about the basics. I hope there is something for everyone, however inflexible.
I don’t really mind what you wear, so long as it is comfortable for you and your body. Yoga practice is always a bare foot practice, and do encourage no socks to be worn, to ensure you use the sensitivity of the feet.
Please refrain from eating at least two hours before class, yoga should be done on an empty stomach and no drinking water during class. This is because the digestive system is affected, so when practicing and on an empty stomach there is less pressure on the internal organs.
Anyone with a medical condition should seek advice before attending and let me know at the beginning of class about any issues. Even if you feel a little unwell on the day, please do mention it to me either message me or speak to me in person.
