Join us on Tuesday for a Redbridge group beginner ride. This week we will be riding around Valentines Park which is a distance of 4 miles and will include a cafe stop. ‎⠀ Participants need to be able to balance, pedal, steer and brake - the ride will go at a gentle, relaxed pace and aim to accommodate anyone who can ride a bike. It is particularly aimed at those who would like to build up confidence and stamina, have recently learnt to ride a bike or have returned to cycling after a long break. ‎⠀ There are a limited number of bikes available to borrow or you can bring your own road-worthy bike. Whilst we always endeavour to ensure bikes are available, there may be circumstances in which we need to cancel a bike booked in the event of unforeseen mechanical issues. ‎⠀ The nearest postcode to the start point is IG2 6EB and the closest entrance is via the Perth Road car park. Once through the car park, the basketball courts are immediately on the right. Please note that the basketball courts do not appear on the park map and there are no signs for them. There is also another set of courts in another part of the park so please make sure that you use the postcode and enter the park via the Perth Road car park. ‎⠀ Please be on time as we are unable to wait for latecomers and do bear in mind if you need to find parking that you will need to come as early as possible. ‎⠀ Please bring with you: -Water -Snacks -Money for cafe if you'd like to buy anything -Helmet (if you wish to wear one) -Bike lock and spare inner tubes (if on own bike) ‎⠀ Riders participate in the ride at their own risk and accept that their safety is a matter of personal responsibility. ‎⠀ For any questions about the rides please contact redbridge@cyclesisters.org.uk.
