Description
Join us on Sunday 18th March for a Newham group challenge ride. This week we will be riding from Viewtube, Olympic Park to Brockwell Park which is a distance of 18 miles and will include a café stop.
Participants need to be able to balance, pedal, steer and brake - the ride will go at a gentle, relaxed pace and aim to accommodate anyone who can ride a bike. It is particularly aimed at those who would like to build up confidence and stamina, have recently learnt to ride a bike or have returned to cycling after a long break.
There are a limited number of bikes available to borrow or you can bring your own road-worthy bike. Whilst we always endeavor to ensure bikes are available, there may be circumstances in which we need to cancel a bike booked in the event of unforeseen mechanical issues.
Rides start at View Tube in the Olympic Park.
Please bring with you:
-Water
-Snacks
-Money for café if you'd like to buy anything
-Helmet (if you wish to wear one)
-Bike lock and spare inner tubes (if on own bike)
Riders participate in the ride at their own risk and accept that their safety is a matter of personal responsibility.
