Powerchair football is played in electric sports wheelchairs with bumpers on the front of them. Games are played 4 v 4 on a basketball court, are 40 minutes long, and there are currently around 100 clubs in the U.K. Since there is no advantage given for size or age, participants as young as 7 can play competitively with 70 year olds! It is also a mixed gender sport and the club caters for everyone from beginners to more experienced players. Please note: All chairs to play the sport are supplied by Frome Falcons PFC. The club welcomes beginners to the sport as well as those new to using a powerchair in general. There are three accessible entrances to the sports hall as well as disabled parking.
