Our Fit & Fed football camps are returning this winter! Time: 9:00 - 15:00 Venue: Stevenage FC Sports Hub, Broadhall Way, Stevenage, SG2 8NP Key information for the camp: - This camp will mainly take place on a 3G astro turf football pitch, - Each camp will consist of a mixture of activities being broken up by a lunch break in the middle. - Each camp will be staffed with a minimum of two qualified FA coaches who are first aid trained. - At this camp your child will learn lots of new skills, practice existing skills and be given the opportunity to showcase their skills in plenty of matches and tournaments, all whilst also being given the opportunity for enrichment activities over the course of the day. - We will be outsourcing healthy, nutritional meals from a local food organisation which will be delivered by SFCF staff daily. An example of how a day might look: 9am - 10:30am - Icebreaker games and technical practices to develop key areas of the game. 10:30 - 10:45 - Breaktime 10:45 - 12:00 - Football specific team games 12:00 - 12:45 - Lunchtime 12:45 - 13:30 - Players choice (The group can decide on a practice/activity they want to do) 13:30 - 14:45 - Tournaments with one of the following sub themes - Teamwork skills/Leadership/Sportsmanship/Communication 14:45 - 15:00 - Tidy up the pitches and getting ready for dismissal. Code of Conduct: - The children are expected to have regard for their own and others’ safety and well-being - The children should actively participate in the lead activities during their time at this camp - The children must follow the instructions of the Fit & Fed staff, or the professionals leading the activities, and always respect the rules and regulations of the camp. - The children are expected to respect their own and other people’s property. - The children are expected to help one-another and ask an adult for help if needed. - The children will be encouraged to treat everyone with Respect, accepting differences of race, gender, ability, age and religion. - The children and parents/guardians are expected to be polite and respectful towards the Fit & Fed staff ; and should always exercise Self-Control. - Bullying, Prejudice, Violence or Bad Language will not be tolerated. Any children who ignore the code of conduct will be initially asked to follow said code, and, if behaviour is repeated, may be asked to leave the setting. Staff will work with parents/ guardians to ensure all children have an equal opportunity to be included within the setting and be supported to make positive choices during their time at Fit & Fed.
