Who are Playwaze?

Playwaze is a digital platform for managing and participating in sport and physical activity online and in an app.

How are Playwaze supporting us?

Playwaze are supporting British Fencing and its clubs in returning to fencing safely with a track and trace system in place for you and your members.

Promote your sessions on the British Fencing website

Playwaze are powering a brand new physical and virtual activity finder on the British Fencing website.

British Fencing affiliated clubs can promote sessions on the new activity finder by managing them on the Playwaze Platform.

Free marketing of your club

By adding your club’s sessions onto the Playwaze Platform and ticking a box to publish them, Playwaze will promote your club and sessions on websites and apps that attract millions of users, as well as activity finders, community tools, and services that target local people looking to get involved with fencing.

Track and trace participants

You can set up your sessions to require a registration. Capture an email address to know who is attending so you can contact participants should you need to.

Set a maximum capacity to manage availability. Playwaze also allows you to enable a waiting list for each session.

Playwaze is starting free for all clubs

The Playwaze web portal and mobile app will always be completely free to use to organise one repeating session, tournament, league, leaderboard, reward, course and qualification. Clubs then have the choice to subscribe to features if they want to run unlimited activities within each of these.

Club Admins will receive an invitation link to their community on Playwaze. You’ll need to create your own Playwaze account, then you can start adding your activities and sessions on the new web portal. Remember to click the box for free promotion as once this has been done, we’ll be able to start promoting sessions to local people wanting to get involved in fencing.

The Playwaze app is available on the App Store and Google Play.

No. As per the guidelines, participants will still be required to scan into facilities. Playwaze works alongside the NHS Track and Trace app to provide clubs with greater visibility of who attended sessions and provides a quick and reliable way to contact attendees if the need arises.

It’s linked at club level so any information provided in Sport80 will appear on the British Fencing club and activity finder. Members will need to register for a Playwaze account to join the Playwaze Platform and book onto sessions.
